ON MY RADAR: FALL FAVORITES

Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of requests for some fall decor favorites, but when it comes to the change in seasons, instead of “decorating”, per se, I like to add lots of layers and texture – piles of comfy throws, soft candlelight and lots of baskets, trays and natural elements like marble, wood, unlacquered brass, bamboo and wicker for a cozy but elegant feel. I also love to bring out my tortoise double old fashioned glasses this time of year; aside from using them on my table settings, I put glass votives inside for soft candlelight! And since summer is officially over and there are no more dahlias to be found, I’m going to give it another go with myrtle topiary and pray that Mary’s tips from last week, as well as whispering sweet nothings to them throughout the day, will keep them alive and happy this time around! Below are a few other favorites I’m loving lately that really make me feel the spirit of the season:

Bamboo cheese knife / Marble coaster set / Round bamboo picture frame / Tortoise double old fashioned glass / Rope sconce / Myrtle topiary / Black resin coral mirror / Glass hurricanes / Rattan cake stand / Brass tray

Hope you’re all off to a great start this week!
