Summer is, hands down, my favorite time of the year; I’m probably the only person in the country that isn’t pining for sweater weather and pumpkin lattes, but I’ve just always been a summer girl and can be found holding on to the season with both hands this time of year. We’ve got a ways to go until it feels anything close to fall weather, so for now, we’re ending school days with a dip in the pool and still using lots of sunscreen, lol!

I thought it would be fun to highlight a few items I used all summer that weren’t necessarily home decor or interior design-related, but that I wouldn’t have wanted to have gone without! Here were the ten items that topped my must-have list:

WOVEN PITCHER + GLASSES – I used these all summer long for margaritas and lemonade and the vase not only doubles as a beautiful vessel for summer blooms, but the both look amazing on the countertop or glass front cabinets when not in use!

FRENCH MARKET TOTE – The leather handles totally made this bag the most versatile accessory for everything from pool towels and sunscreen to snacks and picnic lunches at the part. I’ll definitely be using this well through the fall, as well!

SAIE SLIP TINT – This stuff is worth its weight in liquid gold! It’s like a tinted moisturizer but it’s so light you don’t even realize you’re wearing it and it has a higher percentage of zinc oxide than my regular tinted SPF, so I’ve been wearing this nonstop. I’ve found it difficult to find makeup for olive skin that doesn’t look orange, but this has such beautiful shades!

BUFFALO CHECK TABLECLOTH – one of the most budget-friendly entertaining pieces ever, I used this almost every night for dinner and we took it to the park for picnics quite a bit, too! It washes so easily (and gets softer every time you do) and comes in many different colors.

JBL SPEAKER – Hands down, one of the best purchases! We actually bought this one three years ago and use it constantly when swimming, having dance parties and listening to audio books.

QUAY AFTER PARTY SUNGLASSES – These were on sale for $22 at Nordstrom in the spring, so I bought two pairs; the size and shape are so flattering!

PROSE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER – My natural curly hair had never been the same since fertility treatments a few years back. After a friend told me how amazing this shampoo and this conditioner were, I gave it a shot and my former curls are back and better than ever! It’s a little pricey but a little goes a long way and my hair is shinier and softer than it’s ever been.

RATTAN COVERED TRAY – I bought one of these as a birthday gift for a friend who loves to entertain and loved it so much, I ended up purchasing one myself! It’s great for keeping bugs away from snacks by the pool and looks great on the counter when not in use.

TAN LUXE THE FACE – I finally gave these face drops a try and absolutely loved them! I use medium-dark and mix four drops with my moisturizer every three or four days. It gives the prettiest glow and fades naturally.

What are some of the things you loved from the summer?
