If you guys have been following along for a while, you know that arranging charcuterie is one of my latest passions. There’s just something so therapeutic and satisfying about creating something for family and friends that’s as delicious as it is beautiful. It’s also my favorite way to celebrate the end of a long week or welcome friends to my home. For me, the only thing better than beautifully arranged charcuterie, is when it’s situated atop an equally beautiful board; bonus points when said board is handmade right here in the States and also happens to be nautically inspired!

I’m beyond thrilled to share Atlanta-based Nautical Boards with you all today, which was born out of a love of food, family and boats and has since evolved into a purveyor of beautiful carving boards, serving trays and cheese boards. Made of American maple and sapelle, each board is handmade and boasts contrasting light and dark wood, just like that of a boat deck, and is fitted with chrome sail cleat handles for a durable, beautiful entertaining staple to be enjoyed for years to come.

We’ve been using ours nonstop since we got it and it’s been the perfect summer accessory for snacks by the pool or, my favorite, Friday charcuterie! I especially love the striped wood, which can be customized with monograms, boat names, family crests and more, and the carved out, recessed body makes it so easy to display my favorite charcuterie pairings. The sail cleats are not only the perfect finishing touch, but they make it so easy to transport snacks from the house to the pool!

These beautiful nautical-inspired boards make the perfect gift for the perpetual entertainer or anyone who loves boating or the sea. It also looks amazing on its own, on a countertop or bar when not in use, making it pretty much the perfect entertaining accessory.
