obsessed: french bistro chairs

Maybe I’m still stuck on Monday’s post, but I seem to be stuck on all things blue and white these days.  The cold, dreary weather doesn’t help, either; I’m so ready to welcome Spring and add a few more pops of blue around the house to really signal the end of winter!  Lately, I’m loving navy and white French bistro chairs and bar stools.  They add such a beautiful, natural element to a kitchen or dining area, not to mention a beautiful pop of color (they look especially dramatic in an all-white kitchen!).  Here are a few reasons to love these beauties:

Bistro bar stools add tons of charm, texture and a beautiful pop of color to this gorgeous, all-white kitchen designed by Windsor Smith:

With its glossy gray-blue subway tile backsplash and midnight blue island, this already drool-worthy kitchen designed by Sasha Adler and Lauren Gold gets a little bit of texture via gorgeous bistro bar stools:

Interior design maven Victoria Hagan added navy blue bistro chairs to a gleaming, all-white kitchen and the contrast couldn’t be more beautiful:

I love the natural element bistro chairs bring to this Spanish-style kitchen by architect Tim Barber:

Designer Ashley Whitaker gives this dining room a fresh, beachy feel thanks to a striped rug, shell chandelier and a fabulous set of light blue and white bistro chairs:

Bistro chairs are an unexpected pairing with a farmhouse table and crystal chandelier via House Beautiful, but they compliment the look so well:

Katie Lee mixes modern and traditional in her elegant kitchen with a pair of bistro chairs:

There’s so much to love in this breakfast nook – the Hicks lantern, the glossy black floor tiles, the gorgeous black window casings and, of course, the banquet, all of which are beautifully complimented by a pair of French bistro chairs:

Cobalt blue subway tiles and matching bistro chairs in this kitchen via House Beautiful screams summer!

Here are a few budget-friendly options if you love these chairs as much as I do!

I love Ballard Design’s version; they come in chair, counter and bar heights:

Serena and Lily have four different color options:

Overstock offers a set of two and you can’t beat the price with a stick!

Here’s another set from Overstock; love the beachy vibe of these blue beauties:

Happy Hump Day!
