instagram inspiration: marianne simon design

If you’re looking for some seriously talented and inspiring people to follow on Instagram, you must add Seattle-based interior designer Marianne Simon (@msimondesign) to your feed!  Marianne was one of the first people I followed and I have loved all of her design posts, breathtaking detail shots of client projects and pics of her own home and garden. She has a phenomenal eye for detail and layering fabrics and textures for an elegant, sophisticated look.  Here are some of my favorite instagrams of hers:

Love the marble tile and brass Henry fixture from Waterworks in a client bath:

STUNNING herringbone hardwood floors….definitely want these in my forever home!

There is so much to love in this room snippet, including that fabulous Visual Comfort orb pendant, that coffered ceiling and gorgeous trim work:

Tone-on-tone wallpaper in a powder bath:

You can never go wrong with copper exterior lighting; love this lantern so much:

How gorgeous is this glossy black front door?  Not to mention the fabulous dental molding and trimwork:

Beautiful built-ins in a client’s dining room…can’t wait to see this project when it’s done!

Grasscloth in a generously-sized entry way:

Have a great weekend!
