wednesday wish list: unconventional valentine’s day gifts

Valentine’s Day has never really been a big deal around our house; I think the hubby has actually only been home to celebrate three, maybe four times, so it tends to be just another day for us!  But that never stops me from putting together a wish list of lovelies for the occasion! In honor of the day of love, I thought I’d share what I’m loving this week – no pink or flowers here; this week I’m coveting classic shapes, pops of black and white and lots of gold accents, the perfect, albeit unconventional, gift ideas I’d love for Valentine’s Day or “just because” for that matter.  Here are my picks this week:

LOVE the size and shape of this mirror from Terrain; at five feet tall, it’s definitely a showstopper!

These striped jersey sheets come in a bevy of beautiful color options and are SO incredibly soft!  Come to momma…..

Love the champagne bamboo frame on this sea fan; this would be an easy diy, too!

Target does it again with this gorgeous shiny gold flatware set at such an unbelievably affordable price point!

You can never have enough candles; love this scent.

I’m obsessed with these agate bookends, which were featured last week on One Kings Lane; they aren’t available anymore, but if someone finds them elsewhere, please let me know!

I’m such a sucker for anything monogrammed and these “anchored at sea” notecards are giving me serious heart palpitations!

This sweet, gold heart dish is a perfect candy dish or bedside spot for rings.

I actually have these suede ankle boots and absolutely love them!
