shingle style elegance
I’m working on a very exciting new project in Wrightsville Beach, so lately, I’ve had a lot of beach houses, beach cottages and beach house inspiration on the brain! This summer cottage by architect John B. Murray stopped me dead in my tracks – if you’re an habitual reader of my blog, you know I have a slight obsession with shingle style cottages and this one is no exception. This mudroom is pretty fabulous – between the built-in seating, slate floors, those nautical-inspired flushmount lights and all that natural light, it’s the perfect combination of beautiful and functional:
Another example of why all-white kitchens will never go out of style – glassfront cabinetry, industrial lighting and seating, a coffered ceiling framed in beadboard:
How amazing is this butler’s pantry? The detail work on the cabinets is gorgeous…
