LIMELIGHTS ON EVERY CORNER

One of my favorite things about fall in the south is that there is a plethora of limelights still in bloom, everywhere you look! My neighbor has a few twelve – plus foot high bushes and she lets me snip a few from the back; this time last year, every corner, countertop and table was brimming with a handful. They’re so dramatic and are so easy to dry them out to keep them for even longer (read how to do it here). Closing out the week with some images of last year’s blooms to wish you all a wonderful weekend!

I love limelight’s. Any green flower looks so pretty with so many other colors. Lucky you have a generous neighbor who will allow you to snip a few each time you need.
    I enjoy your posts.

Thank you so much, Karen! I always admire her huge limelight bushes and she is always so generous to let me trim a few armfuls from the back every year. They last so long and look so beautiful dried, too!
