When I think of Hamptons living, I think of the perfect balance between old and new, modern and rustic, with plenty of texture, softly distressed furnishings and muted colors. This Hamptons hideaway is the perfect mix-from the wood beams and soothing color palette to those amazing whitewashed floors and that stunning plate rack. (I wonder if Santa can get a plate rack down a chimney…?)
Right now, at the end of each long and crazy day, I’m craving a little quietude at home and what I wouldn’t give to enjoy a glass (okay, a bottle) of wine in this cozy retreat. Soft grays, taupes, linen and powder blues are so welcoming and help to keep this space light and bright…
