garden inspiration: loi thai

Instagram should be named, “Insta-crack”, for it’s immediately all-consuming and obsessive powers.  Lately I’ve been making a beeline for any feed brimming with shots of gorgeous gardens, emerald green landscaping and beautiful flower pots; I’m not sure if insomnia is to thank for my Insta-obsession or if I have insomnia as a result of said obsession.  Either way, designer and antiques store owner Loi Thai’s gardens have me drooling.  You might remember Loi from when he and his fabulous myrtle topiaries were featured in Southern Living last year; well, his gardens are equally amazing, filled with boxwoods, camelias, alliums, lavender, rosemary, lovely pea gravel paths, and, of course, his magnificent topiaries.  Classic, timeless and chic, not to mention gorgeous!  If you aren’t already following Loi, you need to check out his feed (@loithai) immediately; even if you aren’t looking for inspiration for your own gardens, you’ll swoon over all the loveliness!  Here are a few of my favorites from his feed; I tried not to “like” each and every one so as not feel a little like a creeper, but it’s just too hard not to!

The most STUNNING myrtle topiaries I ever saw:

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I'm totally inspired! Thanks for sharing! I'm not putting photos of the newly-cleaned dog run on instagram, though … It's not worthy!
