FALL-INSPIRED ENTERTAINING PIECES TO ADD TO YOUR EVERY DAY BASICS

It’s finally starting to feel like fall around here and it’s a pleasant reminder that the holidays are right around the corner! I’ve already started adding little touches of fall to my every day dinnerware and serving pieces; wood, marble, ironstone, bamboo, unlacquered brass and tortoise go such a long way in adding warmth and texture to the table throughout fall and winter and just look so pretty!

I always try to keep my entertaining basics pretty neutral so that I can make small changes with the seasons without having to buy anything new (think simple white dinner plates, French wine glasses, water hyacinth placemats and bamboo flatware) I’m also always on the lookout for simple silver pieces like the $12 vintage Empire salt and pepper shakers above and the $2 wine bucket that holds my bamboo flatware (and sometimes a plant!) Pieces that are versatile and can pull double duty, like wine coolers that can be used as a utensil holder or a makeshift vase and a soup tureen that can hold bamboo flatware when not in use, are worth the splurge for me because I know I’ll use them in one way or another, rather than just sitting on a shelf or in a cabinet!

Below are a few pieces I’m loving and using a lot lately; click the link below the photo to be directed to each item:

Tortoise glassware / Rattan ice bucket / Bamboo flatware / Glass hurricanes / French champagne glass / French wine glass / Round bread board / Marble wine cooler / Silver salt and pepper shakers / Rattan cake stand / Slate cheese board / Soup tureen

What are you loving for your fall table lately?
