christmas bar set up

If ever there was a time to have a makeshift bar set up in your home, I say Christmas season is it!  We have friends and neighbors dropping in all the time and having a little well-stocked bar in a corner somewhere has been a great and festive way to welcome everyone!  I don’t have one of the enviable bar carts that still pop up in my Pinterest feed on a daily basis and, truth is, I don’t have the room for one, either, but the best part is that you don’t need a lot of space for a little bar set up – a tiny spot on the kitchen counter, the table in your entryway or even a side table in your living room is more than enough!  Keep it simple and pull a few items from around the house and you’re set: a tray to corral everything, some beautiful glasses, an ice bucket, a bottle opener, a pretty bowl for limes, some sparkling water for the non-boozers and, of course, liquor!  Here are a few examples that inspired me to set up my own little cocktail corner in my kitchen for the holidays:

Here are my picks for a simple cocktail set up for the holiday season:

Monogrammed cocktail napkins / Monogrammed decanter / Striped cocktail tray /

Bourbon + brown sugar candle / Gold bowl

I ordered the fish bottle opener and a wooden box with an inlaid brass anchor to place it in, just the other day. My fishing and beer loving son is going to love it. Yay High Street Market!
