A FRESH TABLESETTING FOR SPRING + AN EASY ALTERNATIVE FOR A FLORAL CENTERPIECE
One of my favorite quick fixes for a table centerpiece when it’s slim pickings in the floral department, or as I’m anxiously awaiting my garden to bloom, is to pull pots of garden flowers from the porch and patio in and onto the table. It’s such an easy way to add fresh color and greenery without the fuss of having to make an arrangement and it adds such a pretty pop of color and greenery!
I found these pots of euphorbia at my local nursery a few weeks back and, while I wait for the weather to be nice enough to plant themoutside, I’ve been bringing them inside and sticking them in rattan planters on our dinner table more times than I can count! They’re some of my favorite for outdoors because they grow so fast and look amazing mixed with other flowers in pots, but inside, the delicate flowers and bright green leaves are the perfect touch of spring!
Many of you asked where the blue and white tablecloth came from when I posted this on Instagram; I found it at H & M a few years back, but this one is a dead ringer! The silver empire salt and pepper shakers were a $12 antique store find, but I found similar ones here, here and here! The chambray napkins are from Pottery Barn.
I know I’ve probably over-grammed the heck out of these silver salt and pepper shakers, but until I find another antique set that I love as much, they will be in heavy rotation here on my table setting posts, lol!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
