It may be a little premature to be thinking about alfresco dining, but spring and summer will be here before we know it and I can’t wait! I’m not usually the biggest fan of melamine, but for dinners, get togethers and play dates by the pool, it just can’t be beat. So, when I stumbled upon these chic dinner plates on super sale at a local boutique, I couldn’t scoop them up fast enough! I’ve always been partial to simple white dinnerware, but the pattern and color on these are just so fun and perfect for summer, I couldn’t resist. Before tucking them away for warmer weather, I set the table with them for dinner last weekend and they couldn’t be a better pairing for bamboo flatware, French wine glasses, chambray napkins, water hyacinth placemats and a few myrtle topiary (scroll beneath photos for links). I can’t wait to use them for summer!
