SUMMER READY

As we make it through all five thousand activities planned these last two weeks of school, end softball season and begin baseball and swim team and prepare for some fun trips this summer, I’m daydreaming of lazy days by the pool with nowhere to be and nothing else to do than flip through a book and play Marco Polo with the littles. This school year has both seemed like it took forever and flew by in the blink of an eye and I’m really looking forward to all the quality time with my kiddos.

Here are a few things I’m loving lately for summer:

Loving this lounge chair – and the price is so good!

An oversize clam shell is the perfect conversation piece and it looks so chic on a table, among potted plants or an alfresco bar setup!

Hands down, THE BEST clean self-tanner (and I’ve tried them all!)

Loving this bronzing gel for a little summer color, too!

A chic pair of inexpensive sunnies are a must-have for beach trips; the shape of these are so flattering!

We use our JBL speaker all year long, but never so much as in the summer, when crank up Yacht Rock Radio and chill in the pool all afternoon (also makes a great Father’s Day gift, which is right around the corner!)

These raffia palm glass bases are such a chic addition to a summer table setting or bar.

I love a good stripe and this navy beauty is a classic!

I’m constantly using my rattan ice bucket from High Street Market; it adds so much texture and interest to a table or bar (more budget-friendly option here).
