rugs by pb teen
I never would have thought to check out Pottery Barn Teen for anything that wasn’t going into a kid’s space, but I was delighted to find it’s, surprisingly, a great source for reasonably-priced large area rugs for any room in the house! I’m always on the lookout for 8×10 sizes and larger, especially for living and dining areas, and there are quite a few beauties at PBTeen. Here are a few of my favorites:
This navy striped jute rug is at the top of my list:
I love it in aqua, too:
Love the color and pattern of this medallion rug:
You can never go wrong with a chevron print, especially in bold black:
This lattice print comes in a bunch of different colors:
Love this scroll dhurrie:
…as well as this Kilim rug:

Teen rooms can be a real challenge but they don't have to be. The most important thing to remember when decorating or redecorating a teen room is to keep an open mind and listen to your teen's thoughts regarding her own space. You see, teens have their own style and in most cases desire a room the reflects their individuality. For parents sometimes it's hard to accept that our teens decorating ideas may not match our own.
