fab find friday: lutyens bench

If you’ve ever admired an English country garden, chances are you’ve seen a Lutyens garden bench, named after famed architect Edward Lutyen.  I’ve seen this bench in drop dead gorgeous landscapes for a while now and I absolutely love it – the curved back and rolled arms make for a beautiful focal point for a garden and elegant extra seating for a deck, porch or patio. As gorgeous as they are, these benches can get pretty pricey.  Restoration Hardware sells a teak version that is on sale right now for $1850:

I love teak and how it weathers to a soft gray finish over time, but if you don’t have deep pockets, this one from Amazon is a pretty good alternative at just over $200:
