RECREATING A FAVORITE TABLE SETTING FOR CHRISTMAS
I don’t know about you guys, but with Thanksgiving so late this year, my creative energy is waning with ten days less to prepare for ALL. THE THINGS. In an effort to stick to my promise to slow down and truly enjoy the Advent season, my little miss and I recreated a favorite table setting from a few years back over the weekend for a little get together with friends (instead of trying to come up with something new). We clipped branches from the arborvitae in the yard, used the leftover dried oranges we made a few weeks ago and added some votive candles. So easy, but super festive! Simple white everyday dinnerware never looked so beautiful!
The tortoise old fashioned glasses are from Aerin year ago (similar ones here), the placemats are discontinued from Pottery Barn (they still have the round ones here), similar bamboo flatware options in this post and white beaded dinnerware here. White paper stars add a special touch to the greenery on the hutch; this set of 12 is the best money I’ve spent on Christmas decorations this year!
