Setting a beautiful table is such a simple luxury and one of my favorite ways to elevate my every day settings is with bamboo flatware. It adds so much warmth and texture and just feels more special than my every day silverware and the kids always feel so fancy using it, too!

I bought my bamboo set years ago from Harold’s Finishing Touches in Australia. It’s been such a great investment, as we tend to use it for all holidays, dinners with friends as well as every day dinners. Back then, Juliska was really the only option stateside, and as gorgeous as it was, it was still a bit out of my budget. Over the past few years, many more affordable options have become available, all of which are just as beautiful. Here are a few options I have personally purchased as gifts or for myself, whose quality I can vouch for:

I actually bought two sets of this plastic set before getting the real deal to see if I would like them. They’re pretty sturdy for plastic and are a wonderful option if the real stuff is out of your price point. I still have ours and use them for meals by the pool! The only downside is that you cannot run them through the dishwasher.

I love the darker brown handles on this set and the price is so good! A friend ordered these and they are so chic in person. These are real bamboo, so the same applies about hand washing, but I think it’s so worth it!

This is another set I found online that seemed too good to be true. I ordered a set myself just to see about the quality before recommending to an e-client and, not only are they incredible in person, but at only $31 for a set of 24, they’re only a few bucks more than the plastic set. If you’re not sure about making an investment for a higher quality or priced set, I highly recommend starting out with this one. They really are beautiful!

Another great option, but a little more pricey, this Etsy set is beautiful and comes with high reviews. I have not seen this one in person, but the reviews are pretty good.

Hope you’re all off to a great start this week!
