pretty up the front porch for fall
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I’ve been on a roll the last four days, cleaning, organizing and tossing a ton of crap in our garage during nap and bedtime. Nothing feels quite as amazing as crossing off every single item on your to-do list, am I right? The one thing I still have yet to get around to doing is my front porch, which is still in summer mode. I’ve got half a mind to paint my front door and shutters a blue/black, but I need another painting project like I need a hole in my head, so I’ll probably save that for another season. Instead, I’m loving a few easy decorative picks to give the front porch a cozy and welcoming fall feel – a beautiful wheat wreath (which would look gorgeous against a glossy black door!), heirloom pumpkins, an antique brass knocker, some monogrammed pillows and rustic planters (still obsessed with my whiskey barrels). Here are some of my favorites:
Wheat wreath / Pineapple door knocker / Monogrammed pillow
Farrow and Ball Black Blue / Metal garden orb
Whiskey barrel / Brass house numbers / Lover’s knot door mat
