obsessed: windsor chairs

Lately, it seems everywhere I look I see Windsor chairs – in magazines and all over Pinterest, especially – and not just in country homes in New England, either.  I especially love birdcage style Windsor chairs, so when Erin posted pics of bold blue-painted Windsors from Ethan Allen the other day in her parent’s Connecticut beach house, I was in love!  Whether antique or reproduction, this style chair is a versatile piece of furniture that works in many different design styles.  I think they look most lovely painted for a little modern touch, and I don’t think you can ever go wrong pairing black Windsors with an old farmhouse table.  Here are some lovely examples:

Love Windsor chairs! I have a set of 8 that I scored second hand for $125 awhile back. They are gorgeous and look awesome with my old farm table!! I've been considering painting them black, but then I saw Erin's post the other day of her parent's beach house and fell in love with the blue. I might meet halfway and do a dark navy. Thanks for the inspiration!

Angie – you really scored! What an unbelievable price! Navy would look amazing…

Thanks for the information. I dont think so that we have to buy ready made furniture.its a old entity and whats d material used for the furniture, we can not judge that.
