loving lately: blue+ white + lots of texture

Happy Hump Day!  I can’t believe it’s August already – where has the summer gone?  The last month Baby Girl has been waking every 1.5-2 hours, so I’m pretty sure I’ve missed most of this summer just by sauntering through it in a foggy haze. In my mind though and, if I’m being honest, in my home decor, as well, it’s eternal summer and lately that comes in the form of shades of blue, crisp white, stripes and lots of texture.  Here are a few things I’m loving lately:

This is the quintessential outdoor dining chair; a set would look AMAZING surrounding a weathered teak dining table.

Obsessed with this oil seascape by John Bucklin, aptly titled for this post “Shades of Blue”.  With a thin, modern gold frame?  PERFECTION.

Love this monogrammed outdoor pillow so much, I’ve included the black and navy versions in many design boards, but I’m loving the elegant simplicity of it in cream with jute cording.

What screams summer more than stripes?  This wool rug in dusky blue would look amazing year round.

If I ever own a house by the sea, this jute rope chandelier by Jamie Young is going to be the first thing I purchase for it!

Love this throw in a geometric pattern very similar to my beloved la Fiorentina print by David Hicks.  The perfect shade of periwinkle, too!

Still obsessed with this rings garden stool in crisp, classic white.

A while back, I mentioned I was on the hunt for a knot doormat of decent size and a reader was kind enough to send a link to this one (Thanks, Lynn!).  I LOVE IT.

What are you loving lately this summer?
