LOVING LATELY: BLUE + WHITE + LOTS OF RATTAN

I can’t think of a more quintessential color palette for summer than blue and white.; when paired with rattan, wicker and bamboo, the effect is effortlessly chic! My husband likes to tease me that there isn’t a wicker piece I won’t find to blog about and I have to agree; chances are, a lot of you reading have been following for a while, so you don’t mind either! Lately, I’ve been drawn to dusty blues, block print patterns and lots and lots of texture. Here are a few items on my radar currently:

Travertine coaster set / Blue glass vase / Oversize French market tote / Block print quilt / Set of three braided orchid baskets / Cane and brass library light / Bone serving spoon set / Bamboo picture frame / Wicker lamp shade / Zanzibar pillow cover / Melamine dinner plate / Wicker wrapped glasses / Faux coral / Rattan breakfast tray

Completely obsessed with this travertine coaster set!

How beautiful is this blue glass jug vase?

One can never have too many French market totes; I love the size and price of this oversize beauty!

Block print quilts are great for picnics, the beach and wrapping couch cushions to protect from kiddos spills. The price on this one is too good to pass up!

This set of horn spoons is a beautiful addition to a charcuterie board and would also make a great hostess gift when the holidays roll around!

Every room deserves a touch of bamboo; these picture frames add so much texture and interest to bookshelves and end tables.

This set of three braided orchid baskets are a steal! I ordered a set to dress up some orchids for teacher’s gifts this Christmas.

This brass and cane library light is quite the statement piece!

I love the shape of these melamine dinner plates.

Turn a simple lamp into a statement piece with a wicker lamp shade!

There’s no better way to infuse a little color and pattern in to a space than with a beautiful throw pillow; I’m obsessed with the color and pattern of this one!

These rattan-wrapped tumblers work in every decor style and add so much texture and interest to the table!

Nothing beats a sculptural piece of (faux) coral to add texture, interest and a coastal vibe to a stack of books, a coffee table or a bookshelf

Love this rattan breakfast tray for lazy mornings in bed or, in my more realistic case, popcorn and snacks on the couch, watching a movie with the littles!
