lots to love at ballard!

I’ve been slowly but surely making my way through the mountain of design magazines and retail catalogues that have accumulated over the last few weeks and I have to say, as I flipped through the latest from Ballard Designs, I was excited to see they are KILLING it with their new goodies! Here are a few items that caught my eye:

This paneled burlap table cloth with cream tape trim is not only fabulous, but at $120, it’s also INSANELY priced! You can’t buy the fabric and have it sewn professionally for that price, believe me!

My love for stripes has no bounds and so, naturally, I was immediately drawn to this striped dhurrie rug.  I think it would not only look gorgeous layered over a larger seagrass or sisal rug, but t would add some drama and depth to any room:

Love the pom pom detailing on this quilt (so perfect for a little girl’s room!) and the color options on this block print shower curtain:

This tufted ottoman adds major wow factor with a pleated skirt and gorgeous tape trim:

I absolutely LOVE these bistro stools; they would look as amazing in a beach house as in a more traditionally decorated setting, and these Allen Stools add a vintage, industrial touch for those with a more modern aesthetic:

This gold, faux bamboo bar cart had me at hello, and equally as lovely is the matching coffee table:

Not sure where they “found” so many pine dough bowls, but these come in a variety of sizes and are pretty reasonably priced, compared to the real deals I’ve seen in antique stores.  Love this burlap chevron pillow for a bold pop of pattern:

This Twilight on the Seine has been on my radar for a while and it’s on sale now!  This Breathless abstract piece is a beauty, as well; I love the storm clouds:

And last, but not least, I am really LOVING this iron chandelier…it bears a very striking resemblance to a similar chandy hanging in the kitchen of a Wainscott home designed by the fabulous Steven Gambrel and which I’ve posted about before.  No doubt the Steven Gambrel version is incredibly more expensive, but I think the Ballard take is just as pretty; I’d add some shades in a more neutral fabric like linen or even seagrass:

Seen anything lately at Ballard that has caught your eye??

I LOVE Ballard! The outlet isn't too far from me. I have gotten so many things there for a fraction of the catalog price. I even saw several of the things you list here just last weekend! If you're ever in Atlanta, it's worth a visit!

I'm so jealous, Kate! I've heard so many good things about the outlet, but haven't been to Atlanta in years. Lucky girl, you are to live so close!

I've been drooling over that chandelier, and think it would be perfect in our kitchen eating area with linen shades, but haven't bought yet. Keep waiting to see what reviews it gets because I'm convinced it's too good to be true! Feeling bolstered by your endorsement of it, though!

Kris, I think it's gorgeous, myself! Seriously considering pulling the trigger and ordering it for my breakfast nook….will post if I do!
