large scale horse photography

I’m sure by now you’ve all seen framed, oversize photos of horses in interiors all over the web and Pinterest and either you’re sick of it, or, like me, you’re still obsessed.  There’s something so magical and haunting about these creatures, and yet it’s the scale of these images that makes them so incredibly dramatic in any style decor.  Sadly, neither my budget nor those of my clients can afford anything by the amazing Robert Dutesco, which cost more than an Audi, but a girl can still dream, right? Here are a few images that fueled my original interest:

An Etsy search for something totally unrelated for a client project led me to the photographic work of Jennifer Meyers of Apples and Oats.  Not only is her work amazing, but her prices are super affordable!  Here are some of my favorites:

Beautiful. I have not noticed this trend in design, but now that you point it out, I love it. Horses are such beautiful creatures. I'm off to check out more of Jennifer's work!
