it’s up!

My sunburst mirror has been proudly displayed above my fireplace for the last month, so I thought it was about time to show it off! Despite getting off to a rocky start, nearly giving me a heart attack (the rinky dink D-rings that came attached to the back broke as the hubby was lifting it up the ladder, so off we went to Lowe’s for some extra reinforced steel ones), it’s up!  My family room is no way near ready for an online revealing, but here’s a sneak peak of what it looks like above our mantel:

Every time I walk into the room, it makes me smile.  Definitely one purchase that did not cause buyer’s remorse!
