it’s 5 o’clock somewhere…

…and it a few hours, it will be here, too!  This has been a long and super busy week and I am looking forward to kicking it with the hubby and relaxing with some friends this weekend (with a bottle-or maybe two-of wine!)  Whenever we have friends over, I always set up a makeshift bar in a corner of my kitchen-I’m still on the lookout for that perfect barcart (aren’t we all?) but it doesn’t take much to create your own little bar area…corale liquor bottles, mixers, glasses, bowls of limes and an ice bucket on a tray and you’re good to go!  Here are some of my favorite examples:

And here are my picks for setting up a chic, makeshift bar anywhere in your home:

Rattan tray

Mermaid bottle opener

Rattan ice bucket

Blue and white drink stirrers

Double old-fashioned glasses

brass whale bottle opener

Small coral bowl

Giant clam shell

Great looking bars. I've yet to find the perfect one for me though. Happy Weekend.
