beautiful barn wedding

What better way to ring in the New Year than to throw an unforgettable wedding in a newly restored, gorgeous barn?  That’s exactly how my good friend and fellow military wife, Christine, spent New Year’s Eve when she tied the knot with her sweetie at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst, North Carolina.  Illuminated solely by candles and white Christmas lights, the newly restored barn, originally built in 1917, provided a jawdropping backdrop for a celebration guests won’t soon be able to forget. Despite the gorgeous detailing, Christine was the star of the show….check out her Manolo Blahniks!

Oh….just gorgeous! I love the idea of a barn wedding, but seeing this with all the perfect little twinkle lights and the illuminated wreath in the round window…every detail right down to the brides' shoes to match his uniform… are so beautiful. I'll bet these pics will be all over pinterest!
