grasscloth in the kitchen

I love grasscloth for a myriad reasons – it adds warmth, texture and tons of character to any space but, above all else, I love it because it’s just so darn pretty! I’m not sure how practical it may be to hang it in a kitchen (I’m a messy cook and find it hard enough to keep white subway tile clean!), but when I saw how amazing it looked in this Connecticut home, it stopped me in my tracks!  Paired with glassfront cabinetry, crisp white beadboard and that stunning, gray and cream hand-painted floor – perfection!

Here are  my picks for creating a similar look at home:

rug / monogrammed wine glasses / Victorian faucet / grasscloth wallpaper / Rohl farmhouse sink

Would you hang grasscloth wallpaper in the kitchen?
