friday five

It’s been a long and crazy week; I was ready for the weekend back on Monday.  I’m excited to not have any plans, save for spending all weekend outside, soaking up this gorgeous weather with my babies (both fur and human) and grabbing dinner with some friends.  There’s just something about not having plans that makes the weekend feel like it will last longer, don’t you think?  I’m so happy we are finally having some real Fall weather lately; here are a few other things making me happy this week:

“Autumn Gathering” by Park Hill Candles is the most amazing scent for Fall!  The candles burn so well and smell so amazing, I want to lick my walls!  Plus, it comes in an adorable wicker holder.  Order one now, you’ll thank me, I promise.

And speaking of scents…..silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus have been keeping my living room smelling equally amazing.  Thank you, Fresh Market, for $5 bundles!

I had high hopes of reading interior designer and blogger Lauren Liess’ new book leisurely over the weekend but I ended up DEVOURING every single page last night.  So, SO good!  It’s been a long time since I’ve read a design book this great.  Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

This face.  She slays me.  Chalk paint in her hair and all:

I like big plants and I cannot lie.  Even those of the so-big-I-can’t-see-in-the-only-full-length-mirror-in-the-house variety:

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hehehe …lick my walls. That made me giggle. I have been burning candles all week too. Your little girl is sooo adorable.
