fab find friday: whitewashed candlesticks

TJ Maxx has been more miss than hit lately.  I still stop in frequently to check out their new inventory for projects I’m working on, but it’s been a long time since I’ve purchased anything for my own home that I didn’t ultimately end up returning.  Then, last week, in a mad dash to find lanterns for a front porch restyle, I turned down an aisle and these beauties were staring right back at me:

Their size (the largest is 2 feet tall), chalky whitewash finish and turned, knobby bodies are perfect.  Even better was the price: between $10 and $12 each! They will be the perfect compliment to my sunburst mirror (if it ever gets here) over my mantle.
