eric zener, part 2

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had this obsession with water.  My dad put me and my brothers on swim team as soon as we turned four and after swimming competitively for almost fifteen years, water has always been where I feel most myself.  When it comes to art and accessories, I have always gravitated toward pieces that reflect my love for the ocean and the work of artist Eric Zener is definitely at the top of my list.  I’ve posted some of my favorite pieces by Eric Zener before and I’m loving some of his latest additions to his portfolio even more.  His work is almost always centered around water – whether it’s the sea or a swimming pool – and he is truly amazing at capturing the essence of a summer day spent at the beach or the calmness and solemnity of someone diving into the depths of the sea.  Not only is Eric self-taught (can you believe that?!) but I was intrigued to read in an issue of Coastal Living in which he was featured, that his wife more often than not models for many of his paintings.  Beauty AND talent!  Here are some of my favorite additions to his portfolio:
