designer love: lee ann thornton

I’m always drawn to light, bright spaces that are fun and fresh, but I’m especially so every time a New Year rolls around.  There’s something about clean, classic design that makes me want to go crazy de-cluttering and painting everything white for a fresh start.  I was pleasantly surprised to discover that quite a few spaces I’ve admired for a while now all belong to designer Lee Ann Thornton.  With a style that is decidedly classic with modern twists thrown in for good measure (my fave!), all of her spaces are bright and airy with subtle pops of color and the most amazing, sumptuous fabrics and wallcoverings.  Here are some of my favorite spaces from her portfolio:
