a few things I’m loving right now

This morning has gotten off to a rocky start, so what better way to brighten the rest of the day than to blog about my latest favorite things! This is, hands down, my absolute favorite bronzer EVER!  I have olive skin and it’s hard to find makeup, especially a bronzer, that doesn’t make me look like an oompa loompa, but this one, paired with a dab of cream blush, makes me look like I just spent a few hours on the beach!  It’s super pigmented so you can use as little or as much as you want.  I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but I do wear this year round:

Leave it to Annie Kelly to compile a book of some of the most fabulous coastal interiors!  Rooms to Inspire by the Sea is my latest purchase from Amazon…when I saw it on display at one of my favorite home decor jaunts, I DEVOURED every single page!  I highly recommend it for anyone who dreams of one day living by the sea or is looking for the perfect coffee table book!

This coral and cream chevron fabric is the perfect way to add a dose of summer color to your decor.  It’s amazing how a few pops of color can completely change the mood of a room:

Mademoiselle by Essie is still my favorite shade of pale pink.  Tanned toes have never looked more fabulous:

This print reminds me that I need a vacation.  Bad.  Since there will be no trips to the Amalfi Coast anytime soon, this lovely print is a beautiful substitute:

Yesterday, Alexandra over at Rustic Rooster Interiors posted this gorgeous brass anchor door knocker and I couldn’t stop thinking about it all day.  Paired with the cobalt door, it makes a striking first impression guests won’t soon forget:
