VASE ROUNDUP FOR SPRING + SUMMER BLOOMS

We are anxiously awaiting all the gomphrena, cosmos, zinnia and dahlias we planted a few weeks back to bloom and for every surface to soon be covered with handfuls of blooms all summer long! When it comes to displaying them, I like to use simple vessels to keep the focus on the blooms, usually preferring footed glass, wicker, cane and sometimes, marble pretties that I’ve collected over the years. The best part of textured vases is that they double as storage for taper candles, napkin rings and place card holders!

Most of my collection has been from Amanda Lindroth (who sadly closed her online shop last year!) and thrift and consignment shops from over the years. The footed glass vases are my favorite for making a dramatic impression with an armful of hydrangeas from Trader Joe’s, but they also double as beautiful candle holders! Below is a roundup of vessels I’m loving lately:

Footed glass hurricane / Silver mint julep cup / Marble vase / Silver bud vase / Cane covered vase / Fluted footed hurricane / Bamboo bud vase / Wicker urns (on sale!) / Fluted bud vase / Tall footed glass vase
