the charm of charleston

I have a love affair with the city of Charleston.  I posted my extensive collection of photos of window boxes here and gave a little tour of one of my favorite shops, South of Market, here.  Every time I go, I spend 99% of the time wandering the cobblestone streets, taking pictures of gardens, driveways, gates and the greenery….oh, the greenery!  Any normal person could walk down the street and appreciate the beauty of the historic homes and their lush gardens, but I am instantly smitten by all the details.  It’s sensory overload!  Here are some of my favorite shots from my last few trips; I often flip through them whenever I need some inspiration for outdoor spaces.
