TEN THINGS I’M LOVING LATELY – JANUARY

Despite being a self-proclaimed eternal summer girl, I absolutely love the month of January. It’s the coldest month of the year here in North Carolina and it’s just perfect for nesting, cozying up and recharging my batteries from the holiday season. Today I’m sharing ten things I’m loving lately and, hopefully, I’ll be able to turn it into a series here on the blog as the months and seasons change. Lately, I’m loving cuticle care, moody gray-blue everything, trainers to elevate my mom uniform and pens to elevate my grocery list and never-ending list of to-do’s for the kids for school. Hope you’re all off to a wonderful start this week!

1. THIS HOUSE. It’s no secret I’m mildly obsessed with the work of designer Steven Gambrel; I keep coming back again and again lately to this gorgeous Sag Harbor stunner for all the tone-on-tone inspiration, coupled with lots of texture, pops of black and warm wood tones. SO, SO GOOD!

2. BENJAMIN MOORE BOOTHBAY GRAY Loving this moody gray blue hue that would look amazing on walls, trim and doors in a space. It’s neutral enough to go with white, cream, tan, blues and black accents and furniture would look so beautiful against it!

3. BARE HANDS CUTICLE OIL Hands down, the best I’ve ever tried! My cuticles and nails have never looked better, despite the recent frigid temperatures and constantly having my hands in water. I also love their glass nail file for the perfect dry gloss manicure!

4. and 5. ALL THE MARBLE! I love using marble accents around the house – they look incredible paired with vintage silver and add so much texture and interest to any space. Loving this vase, which, honestly looks as fabulous on its own as it would holding an arrangement and I need to add this salt and pepper set to my collection, ASAP.

6. MYRTLE TOPIARY As soon as the Christmas tree comes down, I make a bee line to the nursery for some house plants and fresh greenery to liven up the space in its absence. THIS is my favorite online shop for myrtle topiary; they are beautiful, well packed and have the best customer service!

7. OVERSIZE RUSH BASKETS Perfect for coralling shoes, toys, blankets and all the dog stuff to create the illusion of an organized space, lol! Also perfect for tossing items into in a mad dash to clean up before company comes over!

8. THIS DOOR STOPPER You know I have to post at least ONE lab-inspired item, right? This is such a sweet door stopper, I couldn’t resist!

9. ADIDAS SAMBA OG I’m the last person on the planet to jump on the Samba bandwagon (I LOVE me some New Balance!), but I got these in the white/tan/black color way and absolutely love them! I’m not going to lie, these are leather and were absolutely terrible breaking them in, but I got a pair of Dr. Scholl’s heel risers and fixed that, stat. Highly recommend!

10. BAMBOO BALLPOINT PENS Is there anything chicer than a beautiful pen? Loving this set of three to elevate your grocery list…also a great gift idea for friends and teachers!

Happy Monday!
