take me away: bedford post inn

I am in dire need of a long weekend away to recharge my batteries sans cell phone, laptop or TV and the Bedford Post Inn sounds like the perfect setting for a tranquil weekend getaway!  A quaint, fully restored eightennth century farmhouse converted to a luxury inn and yoga retreat an hour north of Manhattan in beautiful horse country, the grounds are as charming and welcoming as the beautiful interiors.  I wish I lived close enough to hop in the car and stop in for a visit, but for now, I’ll just have to live vicariously through these beautiful pictures:
