SWAPPING CAN LIGHTING FOR FLUSH MOUNTS

Lighting is one of the most important details of any room; layering table lamps, floor lamps, sconces and pendant lighting is such a great way to create warmth and coziness to any space. Recessed lighting, while definitely functional, is lacking in style or any kind of visual appeal, not to mention that, even with dimmers, it can be super unflattering. I can’t tell you how many clients I’ve helped in the past who thought recessed lighting was a necessary evil that they had to have. The truth is, builders will opt for can lighting because it’s cheap. But, even if you do have recessed lighting, it’s super simple to swap them out for a much more attractive flush mount option! I’m currently on the hunt for some chic flush mount options for my own kitchen; in the meantime, I thought I’d share some beautiful examples that inspired me in the first place:
