SPRING THINGS, PART II
As is typical here in the south, we have a couple of weeks of spring-like temps,if we’re lucky, and then it’s on to blazing heat and humidity while my northeastern friends are still donning sweaters and jeans. So, while I’m craving lots of fresh greenery (see Spring Things, Part I here), I’m already gravitating toward stripes in blue and white, lots of camel and woven fibers and, of course, a healthy dose of bamboo. Here are is another roundup of pretties I’m loving lately for spring; click the link for each item beneath the collage:
Blue and white striped rug / Bamboo picture frame / Wine glasses / Outdoor lantern / Sandals / Tote / Burl wood boxes / Saie Beauty Tinted Moisturizer / Pillow / Outdoor planters / Bamboo flatware
Blue and white striped rug – I love stripes year round, but this would look especially beautiful during spring and summer months, layered on top of a sisal or seagrass rug!
Bamboo picture frame – such a pretty way to add texture and interest to a bookshelf or side table (I also love to give these as gifts!)
Wine glasses – still love my French wine glasses, but am also loving these beauties!
Outdoor lantern – These are on sale for a great price and would look amazing, flanking doors to the patio, by the pool or mixed in amongst a container garden!
Sandals – I live in camel colored sandals all summer long; just ordered these gladiator-inspired beauties for summer!
Tote – the perfect accessory for a spring outfit!
Burl wood boxes – Another way to add texture, interest and a touch of lacquer (!!) to bookshelves, a coffe or side table!
Saie Beauty Tinted Moisturizer – I am not a fan of wearing anything more than moisturizer and tinted SPF on my skin, but this tinted moisturizer goes on like silk and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything at all! I especially love it because it’s clean, but also because they have shades that are so flattering for olive skin tones (no orange hues!)
Pillow – I love the color and pattern in this pillow cover (which would look amazing, layered atop the striped rug above!)
Outdoor planters – It’s no secret I love everything woven and these all-weather wicker planters look just like the real deal.
Bamboo flatware – I use mine every day, but especially love putting them out for spring tablescapes!
What are you loving lately for spring?
