loving lately…
I’m off to a super sloooooooow start today and I’m up to my eyeballs with a garage full of stuff for a client project I’m trying to wrap up by the end of this week. Just my luck. In the spirit of Hump Day, I thought I’d post some of my latest loves!
Coral is my go-to color this summer…I’ve been sporting Essie’s Peach Daquiri on my tootsies for the last few weeks and I have no desire to paint them anything else this summer! It’s the perfect combination of coral, peach and pink and it makes tanned toes look amazing!
Navy, cream and camel is one of my favorite color combinations and I’m dying over these gorgeous patchwork pillows by Esty seller CCDeuxVie!
If you’re a fan of interior designer Tim Clarke’s casual, elegant coastal interiors, you will LOVE his new book, Coastal Modern! Page after page ofdroolworthy, inspiring coastal projects make this the perfect design book for the summer:
On our way back from Charleston last weekend, we made a quick stop at Home Depot and found these Jack Daniel’s whiskey barrels for $30! (Our local nursery sells the same ones for $75 each!) They are huge, but you can bet that this girl found a way to fit two of them in the backseat of her Honda Accord! They are going out back on our deck:
I’ve never tried my hand at growing hydrangeas, but when my good friend was transfered to Jordan, I adopted this potted beauty and I am thrilled to see it in bloom!
I’m in looooove with the Oxford Plaid bedding collection over at Land’s End, of all places….especially paired with pale blue walls, navy headboard and a brown and white striped rug-it screams summer on the East Coast, doesn’t it?
…and speaking of rugs, feast your eyes on this outdoor beauty! I love the color options, but especially the gray and cream…wouldn’t it look amazing paired with outdoor wicker chairs?
I want this vintage nautical plate set by Thomas Paul so bad-how lovely would they look at a summer bbq? They’d also look fabulous hung on the wall in a powder room:

I have been reading your blog for awhile now and absolutely love your style. I was in World Market recently and saw some melamine plates that resemble the Paul Thomas ones you mentioned…just a tad bit cheaper 🙂 I also LOVE the Jack Daniels Barrels!!
