FRIDAY FIVE

Happy Friday and Happy Last Day of January! I’ve been slowly but surely making my way through as many nooks and crannies of our house this week, purging clutter, trying to organize toys and make my fifteenth run to drop off a few bags to donation. I still have so many spots to hit that it doesn’t look as though I’ve made much of a dent, but I’m celebrating my progress anyway tonight with pizza and a movie with the kiddos. I’m also looking forward to the beautiful weather ahead this weekend! Before I sign off for the next couple of days, I thought I’d share a few things that landed on my radar from this week. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Rattan ice bucket / Similar salt and pepper shakers / Similar footed glass vase / Slate cheese board / Similar bamboo flatware / Similar water hyacinth placemats

H+M SPLATTER STONEWARE COLLECTION I shared the butter dish and mugs earlier this week in this post, but I had to include the dinner plates, too! The green is so fresh and perfect for spring and look amazing with crisp white table linens, bamboo flatware and rattan accents!

SOUTHPORT CAPTAIN’S HOUSE BY MCGRATH II We got a little taste of this stunner in the November issue of AD, but I was super excited to see it in even more detail on McGrath II’s portfolio! From the hand painted wall mural and soft color palette throughout to the beautiful assortment of Swedish Gustavian painted furniture and subtle nautical details, this is tailored restraint at its finest!

WINTER GLOW Hands down, the best clean self tanning mousse (and I’ve tried them all!) I wear light in the winter and it’s the perfect touch of warmth! I also love this cream bronzer and a dab of this blush on the apples of the cheeks for an instant winter pick me up!

FRANCES PALMER’S LATEST BOOK Life in the Studio is one of my favorite flower books, so you can imagine how excited I was to see that potter and floral arranger extraordinaire, Frances Palmer, is expecting her latest tome, Life with Flowers, this May!

INA’S LEMON CAKE If you’re looking for a sweet treat to make this weekend, I highly recommend this one! It’s light and fluffy and the lemon zest makes it soooo delicious! I also love that it’s a double recipe so you can keep one and gift one to someone else!

Have a wonderful weekend!
