I get a thrill out of scoring fabulous vintage treasures (who doesn’t?), but even better than that is when those treasures also happen to be made out of organic and repurposed, recyclable materials! Over the weekend, I stumbled upon Elsie Green House and Home, a small, family-run company based in Northern California, run by a former Pottery Barn exec who travels the world in search of amazing goodies for your home. I’m absolutely hooked! From furniture, beautiful linens, unique serving pieces to bakeware, gifts, pillows and candles, each piece is one-of-a-kind…I guarantee you will be drooling by the time you finish trolling their site! Here are some of my favorites:
LOVE this beautifully weathered, vintage ice box and this “big and fabulous” farmhouse table is aptly named in its chunky, reclaimed glory:
This French champagne bucket would look equally amazing holding flowers or chilling a bottle of wine, and these red and white striped linen runners found in Montpelier make a fabulous touch to a farmhouse table:
Looking for the perfect gift? This vintage bread board and bread bag are a hostess’s dream, while this set of two green glass bottles would make perfect bud vases or place card holders:
I go nuts for mis-matched pieces of blue transferware like these beauties and how adorable is this mini salt cellar? A perfect hostess gift:
I love these blue/green-tinted Moroccan tea glasses (they would look beautiful, staggered down the center of a table, holding flowers), as well as these whimsical embroidered pillow cases (would be perfect in a guest bedroom!):
