EASTER BASKET IDEAS FOR THE LITTLES

Easter is right around the corner and I’m finishing up finding the last of the fillers I’ll be stuffing into my littles’ baskets this year. It was so much easier (and budget-friendly) when they were super little, but I’ve managed to stick to the same thing year after year – books, a gratitude journal, a craft, something small and some chocolate. We don’t go crazy, as this is a time when we try to focus on growing in prayer, sacrifice and service, but something fun and special for the holiday, nonetheless! I’ve rounded up a few things I’ve had my eye on for my kiddos lately; if you’re looking for something fun or special, here are a few goodies to pick from:

Hey Clay / Gratitude Journal / Bath bombs / Illustrated Classics Book / Binoculars / Bracelet kit / Puzzle / Card Racers / Thinking Putty / Washi tape set / Madame Badobedah and the Old Bones / Cross bracelets / Personalized straw tote / Magnetic fidget men

HEY CLAY We LOVE this brand so much! Each set comes with online instructions to make the cutest little creatures and objects, but my littles also like to create freely from imagination. The clay comes in the most beautiful colors, dries quickly and is super light. Can’t recommend this brand enough!

THREE MINUTE GRATITUDE JOURNAL I buy these every year. It’s super quick and easy to fill in at the end of the day (or every few days) and it’s a great way of remembering all the good things that happen in a day!

BATH BOMBS These come in beautiful colors and smell amazing!

ILLUSTRATED CLASSICS BOOK My mom saved many of these from when my brothers and I were little and my two have been making their way through them and loving them! We’ve been adding to our collection with the ones we don’t have; you can find an entire list of them here for super cheap!

BINOCULARS So fun to take on adventures and these come in so many different colors!

BRACELET KIT These are fun and inexpensive; my two like weaving as many together as they can to see how far they can stretch!

PUZZLE We are very big on jigsaw puzzles and we LOVE Janet Hill books, so this one was a no-brainer. Such beautiful illustrations!

CARD RACERS These are fun to collect and race with friends. The cars flatten so you can launch them – an easy stuffer idea!

THINKING PUTTY We’ve collected these over the years, but this clear “glass” version is so hard to find. A super fun fidget toy!

WASHI TAPE SET If you have a crafter in the family, a washi tape set is a must. I don’t know what it is with kids and tape, but I started buying them their own because whenever I needed some, they had always used it. Such a great price and pretty colors.

MADAME BADOBEDAH AND THE OLD BONES The sequel to the first, this is one of my very favorite picture books EVER.

CROSS BRACELETS These are always a hit; I grabbed the glow in the dark option for Valentine’s Day and they love them, but they come in so many beautiful colors, you’ll have a hard time choosing!

PERSONALIZED STRAW TOTE I bought one for my daughter years ago and it was such a hit and she still uses it regularly during spring and summer. There’s enough time to get it personalized if you order now.

MAGNETIC FIDGET MEN I don’t know what it is about these little men, but even I love playing with them!

What are you putting in your kiddos’ Easter baskets this year?
