chic, affordable lighting: quorum international
Thank you so much for all your sweet comments and suggestions about the new lighting for my front porch on Tuesday’s post! I’m leaning heavily toward the traditional lanterns, but I’ll definitely update when I make a change! And speaking of lighting…
If you were to ask me what two things really complete a room and give it that finished, tailored feel, hands down, I would have to say lighting and window treatments. A room can have the most amazing furniture and accessories but it will still feel empty without window treatments, while lighting creates ambience, and when done correctly, beautifully compliments the entire space as well as the people in it. Unfortunately, both of these items can tend to be a bit on the pricey side, but just because you’re on a budget, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. I’ve used chandeliers from Quorum International for years and have never been disappointed! Not only are they super affordable, but they have a pretty impressive variety to choose from. I originally sourced their reproduction French chandeliers and have used them in countless projects – you just couldn’t beat the price for the size and quality. Here are some stunning pieces from their collection that I’m loving lately:
Can we just talk for a moment about this gorgeous zinc finish? I’ve never seen anything like this on a light fixture before and while orb chandeliers are definitely the rage right now, this chalky, zinc finish takes this piece to a whole new level:

Have a wonderful weekend!

Paula – it's gorgeous, isn't it? LOVE the finish!
I love the crystal added to the second to last one. It gives it a very nice blend of simpleness, and elegance. It looks light it has quite a few lights on it, and would light up a room nicely. I wonder if you would even get a little of the refraction from the crystal dancing on your ceilings and walls. I can see that adding a little more elegance to a kitchen like mine.
I'm sure it absolutely would, Mike! I think it's simplicity and the fact that the crystals aren't too much make it so elegant!
