I try to NOT re-post what other bloggers I follow have posted, but this is just too good not to share! Last week, I stumbled upon the work of Bramasole Photography by Christine Wexler, (thanks, Shorely Chic!) and I am officially OBSESSED with her work! Flipping through her amazing portfolio, I stopped dead in my tracks as soon as I spotted “The Lineup” – what a great gift it would make for my hubby, an avid surfer who first learned the sport when he was stationed in Hawaii a few years back. I dropped everything and emailed Christine right away to get more information and she was so kind to call me back with all the details. According to Christine, “The Lineup” is a shot of Ditch Plains in Montauk, New York, an excellent surfing beach that draws surfers from all over. To my surprise, when I got home from work yesterday, a package from Christine was waiting for me…a beautiful book of some of her most popular shots (and my favorite on the cover!)-perfect for showing clients:
Her opening page has a speech by John F. Kennedy about the sea-so beautiful and befitting!
While all her work is amazing, I love her black and whites best – here are some of my favorites:
Solitude
Surfer Girl
October Surf
Hurricane
