baby shower blues
This weekend I had the honor of co-hosting a baby shower with three other amazing ladies for a lovely friend who is expecting a baby boy in the end of April! Despite the snow, we couldn’t have asked for a better turn out…and all the white beyond the windows made all our decorations stand out even more! Using a turquoise, white and tan color palette and rustic accents like a burlap tablecloth, hydrangeas in vintage blue Ball jars, old crusty bottles, a delectable menu and tons of candlelight made for a beautiful celebration in anticipation of baby boy’s arrival! I even got to pull out an old bread bin I found at an antiques fair last Fall, which has been sitting unused on my pack porch since! As usual, I took a million photos, but I’m so excited with how well everything turned out that I had to share!
As luck would have it, my printer bit the dust a few weeks prior to the shower, so instead of trying to create another template to print favor tags for homemade kettle corn, instead I found the smallest alphabet stamp set and individually stamped each tag (I used my two-inch stamp) and then tied with jute ribbon. I think it turned out so much better than had we printed them!
Here is the beautiful mama-to-be, setting the bar pretty high for prego ladies everywhere!
The amazing hostesses with the guest of honor…love all these ladies so much!
Hope you’re all off to a great start this week!
