almost done!

Our corner built-ins are officially done! I still have to finish filling in nail holes and putting a final coat of paint on them, but I am SO happy with how awesome they look!  (Please excuse the TV…the cable cords aren’t long enough to reach any further, so the whole thing is sitting right in front until I can finish painting and move it):

They really add a sense of grandness to the space now.  I was trying to decide whether I would paint them a darker blue-gray or make them white, like the rest of our trim and I’m so glad I went with the white…it’s such a dramatic contrast against our dark floors:

We made the doors to match our shaker-style cabinets in our kitchen:

I plan on finishing the paint this week and getting the TV situated…stay tuned for finished pics soon!
