Switching gears to some simple, yet seriously stunning design eye candy to wrap up the week!  This shingle style East Hamptons cottage designed by Robert Stilin has been a favorite of mine since I first saw it in House Beautiful a few years ago.  There’s something so refreshing about a light and airy color palette, especially when mixed with lots of natural texture, warm wood furnishings, a great mix of vintage and antique accessories and a healthy dose of stripes.  This home is a testament to how stunning simple design really can be, not to mention comfortable, welcoming and incredibly chic!  Great design really is in the details and this house is teeming with them:
