If you guys haven’t heard of Shea McGee or her design firm, Studio McGee which she runs with her hubby, you need to head over to her website and check out her portfolio quick, fast and in a hurry!  Shea exploded on the interior design scene a few years ago and I immediately fell in love with her crisp, classic, laid back California style; she does all-white the right way – with lots of texture, beautiful pops of color and pattern and a healthy dose of navy blue.  I originally posted about her San Clemente home here and have since loved each and every space she’s popped out along the way, especially the home she recently designed for her parents.  Oh, yes…..

Navy blue walls and crisp white built-ins in the office are the first thing you see when you walk into the house and what a beautiful welcome it is:

White walls and paneling look so crisp in this seating area in the entry and are such a pretty backdrop for a navy rug, woven Roman blinds and a brass coffee table:

Love the built-in seating:

This kitchen is a fabulous example of why all-white kitchens will never go out of style.  From the x detailing on the glass cabinets and the black granite countertops to the chrome pendant lights and the trio of windows over the sink, it’s light, airy and elegant.  Oh, and the navy bistro bar stools are a divine pop of color and texture:

I absolutely love the idea of a round table with a pendant above in an entry.  So classic and welcoming:

White built-in shelving and brass sconces are so crisp against all navy walls:

Light and airy in the dining room:

I fell in love with those shiplap walls and slate tile floor in a herringbone pattern in the laundry/mud room from the moment Shea first posted a picture on her Instagram account….have you ever seen a more chic utility space or what??

The black wallpaper in the powder room is a soft, refreshing touch among all the white in the rest of the house:

Black, silver and pale pink accents in the entry are such a soft and elegant touch:

Such a beautiful spot to start your day:

To see more of Shea’s work and the rest of this gorgeous home, check out her portfolio here.  Oh, and be sure to check out her Instagram (@studiomcgee), which is chock full of equally amazing progress shots of projects she’s currently working on!  Happy Hump Day!
